In his posting of 11/5/99 on "Welfare and
scientific ethics" David Spitzley made reference to this principle as a
quantitative limit in Kelso's model. We have seen from Shann that he proposes
instead a time limitation.
Is someone interested in making a fairly
exhaustive comparison of the mechanics and implications of these two
approaches?
